International Mentoring Day

Internationally, this day honors Muhammad Ali’s birthday on January 17 in recognition of his six core principles (confidence, conviction, dedication, respect, giving and spirituality), which apply so well to mentoring relationships. We're celebrating by acknowledging our international UGA student mentees and the outstanding UGA mentors we have all around the globe.

January is National Mentoring Month, an opportunity to recognize the power of one-on-one relationships to help young people find and follow their passion and pursue their dreams. At the University of Georgia, we are celebrating all month long.
