Description:

Mentoring Matters, hosted by Learning and Development, is a space for everyone who is interested in mentoring to come together and explore how they engage in mentorship. Join us monthly as we explore a variety of topics that will allow participants to share their experiences and strategies in mentorship and contemplate how they can learn and grow in how they show up for their mentor relationships. This series is open to all employees at UGA regardless of whether you are involved in an official mentoring role or not.

The Mentorship Mystery

A mentor can help advise you on a difficult decision at work. They can help you network and meet new people. They can help you gain confidence and inspire you to be more than you even thought possible. In this course, you'll learn resources for finding a mentor, how to ask someone to be your mentor, and strategies for having effective conversations to build the relationship.
